KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & ACCOUNTABILITIES OF THE POSITION

The ideal candidate for this position would be responsible for the following key activities, carried out on a 24x7 roster basis (but not limited to):

• Network monitoring and operations on a 24x7 roster basis.
• Network device configurations, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
• IPVPN configurations, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
• Network monitoring and incident management.
• Ensuring that the required level of network security compliance is maintained.

In addition, the candidate should be a team player with a commitment to delivering the required network support for internal and external users. Moreover, the individual should possess strong research abilities to stay up to date with new technological developments and trends in enterprise architecture.

QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE AND PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES

• Diploma in IT or network-related computer studies.
• CCNA or a similar professional qualification in Networking would be an added advantage.
• Adequate knowledge of TCP/IP, including IPSEC.
• Hands-on experience with network devices such as firewalls, routers, and switches.
• Understanding of information security compliance and standards.
• Excellent documentation and verbal communication skills in English and hands-on experience with Linux operating systems.
• 01-year work experience in Network operations is preferred.
