The ideal candidate for this position would be responsible for following key activities, including but not limited to;
Monitor payment systems session cut-off times, end-of-day processes, reconciliation activities, and settlement processes.
Perform daily reconciliation functions to ensure all processing activities are balanced and that appropriate entries have been submitted to the Central Bank RTGS system.
Conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for system enhancements, upgrades, and new product implementations, ensuring compliance with business and operational requirements.
Coordinate with vendors, internal teams, and member financial institutions on system implementations, issue resolution, and project-related activities.
Handle queries and provide operational support to member financial institutions.
Accommodate ad-hoc requests for performance reports from member financial institutions.
Assist in the preparation, verification, and submission of confidential information and reports to the Central Bank of Sri Lanka and other government agencies connected to the LankaPay network.
Assist in the preparation and verification of month-end performance reports and billing information.
Assist the Senior Executive – Operations in monitoring software applications, systems, and hardware within the computer processing environment.
Assist in conducting product presentations, awareness sessions, and training programmes for member financial institutions.
Participate in incident management, operational issue resolution, and continuous process improvement initiatives to ensure service excellence.
Diploma in IT, Business Management, or a related discipline from a recognized institution.
A minimum of one year’s of experience in the IT, Banking, or Finance sector, preferably with exposure to Electronic Fund Transfer (EFT), ATM/POS switch operations or a similar payment processing environment, will be an added advantage.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with both technical and non-technical personnel at various organizational levels and member financial institutions.
A self-motivated and proactive individual with the ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders across different levels of the business.
Strong process improvement and innovation capabilities.
A positive attitude and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
